Rain

The weather gods apparently did not want to come to Sydney with me. Today it poured buckets the entire day. Undeterred like a Vancouverite should be, I borrowed an umbrella from the hostel and ventured out into downtown Sydney. Navigating the busy downtown sidewalks of Sydney with an umbrella in hand is a bit of a game in itself.
It was a productive day of errand-running.

Got my bank cards activated. At the bank I was asked a crapload of personal questions and mistaken for an American.

And despite telling the phone company I was unemployed, and getting declined by the credit check, I still managed to get a monthly no-contract phone plan. Woohoo!
